About La Cabelle

Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember – horses in particular. I grew up with show-jumping horses, and their elegance, beauty, strength and expressive presence continue to fascinate me.

In the world of equestrian sport, this distinctive presence is enhanced through a careful eye for detail: from fine riding boots and thoughtfully chosen competition attire to elaborately designed saddle pads. Yet, amid all these possibilities, I felt something was missing: a detail that would highlight the horse’s natural beauty in a way that was both subtle and distinctive.

That idea gave rise to La Cabelle: a fine piece of jewellery for the plaited mane, designed as the final finishing touch.

Depending on the setting, its character can be whimsical, understated or sophisticated. Each pin is made in Switzerland and designed to complement the horse’s appearance with elegance and timeless style – on stallions and geldings as much as on mares.
